The Los Angeles Emerging Professionals (EP-LA) Networking and Events (N&E) committee has a unique structure compared to all other EP-LA Committees.  Each of the EP-LA committees will create, participate in, and orchestrate events. The N&E committee coordinates with each of the EP-LA committees and establishes and monitors a robust calender of events for the group. Further the N&E committee integrates with other USGBC-LA Chapters and committees to make sure events blend education, networking, outreach and other core goals of the USGBC-LA Chapter.

We also help current or future LEED accredited professionals break into and understand the industry in a comprehensive fashion. The construction and design industry is a robust environment full of professionals with varying backgrounds – we help discover how each can become a part of the sustainability movement.

Events are a big part of EP-LA and the USGBC-LA Chapter therefore this may be one of the best ways to volunteer at both the micro and macro levels.
